The Peugeot 2008 compact SUV was launched in 2013, and followed on from the sales success of the 207 Outdoor wagon which preceded it. In modern Peugeot nomenclature the use of a double-zero in the name denotes that the vehicle is an SUV, as distinct from the marque’s range of hatches and sedans which retain the single zero in their badges. This 2017 Peugeot 2008 Allure was sold new in December 2017 by Sinclair Automotive Peugeot. It is finished in Ultimate Red metallic with a charcoal leather/alcantara interior and is in excellent condition both inside and out. As a 2017 model it benefits from the mid-series update which was unveiled in 2016, and included a new, more aggressive grille design and a number of other improvements. The vehicle has covered 112,131km from new and comes complete with all the original factory literature, manuals, owner’s folder and an up-to-date service log book. The Allure grade was extremely well-specified and the car features Apple Car Play/Android Auto, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, satellite navigation, reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, dusk-sensing headlights with follow-me-home feature and LED daytime running lights, rain-sensing wipers, a multi-function leather steering wheel, cruise control and speed limiter, folding electric mirrors, stylish 17-inch factory alloy wheels, alloy roof rails, a generous cargo compartment with luggage blind and more. On the safety front the 2008 earned itself a 5-star ANCAP safety rating and offers Electronic Stability Control (ESP), six airbags, traction control, brake assist and electronic brake force distribution (EBFD). The 2008 Allure is powered by the lusty 1.2L 3-cylinder intercooled turbo petrol motor, which delivers 81kW of power and 205Nm of torque. This willing, smooth and highly responsive motor drives through a 6-speed sports automatic transmission to the front wheels, and offers Peugeot’s unique Grip Control feature which enables the driver to select from a range of different terrain modes. The advanced engine and efficient transmission provide both responsive acceleration as well as amazing fuel efficiency, with the 2008 rated at an extraordinarily low 4.8L/100km in the Combined Cycle (per ADR 81/02). This head-turning Peugeot has been extremely well maintained, and offers an up-to-date and meticulous service history along with NSW registration all the way to June 2024. We recommend it highly to anyone seeking a stylish and engaging compact family SUV with excellent safety and luxurious equipment levels.

The Peugeot 206 was released in 1998 as a replacement for the Peugeot 205 and ran right through until September 2005, before being replaced by the 207 in April 2006. The 206CC (short for Coupe Cabriolet) was launched locally at the Sydney Motor Show in October 2002, and was one of a number of all-new models launched simultaneously - along with the 307 hatch and the 607 large luxury sedan - by a new national distributor determined to breathe life into what had been for several years a dormant and staid option in the Euro category. These three fresh models and exciting new marketing campaigns set off something of a renaissance for the Lion marque in Australia, with Peugeot's annual sales volumes more than tripling in number over the ensuing three years. The 206CC incorporated a folding steel roof (a concept first invented by Peugeot way back in the 1930s), and like the Mercedes-Benz SLK launched five years earlier it merged all the benefits of a convertible with the security and comfort of a steel-roof coupe.
Two variants of the CC were offered in Australia: a 1.6L standard model offering both manual and auto transmissions, and the top-of-the-line 2.0L in manual form only and sharing its engine, running gear and equipment specification with the 206 GTi hot hatch.
This 2005 Peugeot 206CC 2.0L 5-speed manual in Arden Red was delivered new by Autosports Prestige Peugeot in Arncliffe in January 2005 and is one of the last of the series. It has traveled just 92,006km from new, its low mileage supported by its up-to-date log book service history detailing regular and careful maintenance throughout its life. The car comes complete with all the original manuals, factory literature, owner's folder and two keys. Features (aside from its electrically-operated folding steel roof) include climate-control air conditioning, cruise control, updated audio with bluetooth, 2+2 seating, front and side airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), ABS brakes, sports front seats/leather sports steering wheel/alloy race-style fuel cap/alloy race-style pedals/16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels (these last five items shared with the 206 GTi) and more. It comes with the 2.0L DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine that produces 100kW of power and 190Nm of torque. Like its 206 GTi twin, the performance from the 2.0L engine coupled with the 5-speed manual gearbox was strong, and this car still manages to put a smile on the face of any enthusiast who gets behind the wheel with its sure-footed handling and instant throttle response. This last of the series 206CC turns heads wherever it goes and has been very well cared-for throughout its life, and requires no spend in order to be enjoyed immediately. We would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a fun, safe and sporty convertible car, or for the commuter seeking engaging, stylish yet fuel-efficient daily transport.
