The Mercedes-Benz R230-series SL roadster had a long model life of just over ten years, and was designed by Steve Mattin in league with Bruno Sacco. It enjoyed two updates in the course of its tenure, with the most significant being in 2008 when the R230 received a more masculine front-end design, various interior changes and important technical upgrades for the 350 V6 engine to improve power, torque and efficiency. This magnificent 2009-complied SL350 roadster is an example of the '08 update and is finished in Obsidian metallic with a black leather interior, the latter complemented by lustrous burr walnut timber trim.
