The second generation of the highly successful Touareg (Type 7P) was developed by the Volkswagen Group on a platform shared with the Porsche Cayenne, and ran from 2010 until 2018.
This particular example is a 2015 MY16 model finished in Silver with an Anthracite Black soft leather interior, the latter complemented by piano timber trim. Delivered new by McGrath Volkswagen in Liverpool in September 2015, it has covered 189,206km and features a complete and fully up-to-date service history with every service being done at the selling dealer McGrath VW Liverpool up to November 2022. It also comes with all the original factory literature, owner’s wallet, and two remote keys. It presents in excellent condition, with a flawless paint finish and an unblemished interior. The 3.0L V6 TDI (Turbo Direct Injection) turbo-diesel unit is a proven performer, developing a strong 150kW of power and a hefty 450Nm of torque - the latter facilitating a considerable 3,500kg braked towing capacity. The engine drives through an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission to all four wheels via the 4MOTION system, and aside from flexible and willing performance it is capable of an astonishingly low 7.2L/100km fuel consumption in the Combined Cycle. This is an excellent and very well cared-for example of the desirable second-generation Touareg, and we have no doubt that it will continue to provide safe, economical and luxurious family motoring for many years to come. Registration in NSW is until March 2024.
