This March 1990-build Mercedes-Benz 300SE W126 series S-Class is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) paintwork with a very rare black leather interior, and has all the original books and manuals from new. It was delivered by Mercedes-Benz of Sydney in March 1990 to its first owner a Mr Fairfax in Sydney, and has covered 153,246km supported by an excellent service record from new. Everything functions as it should, from the ice-cold air-conditioning to the hydraulic self-levelling rear suspension, electric sunroof, central locking, power windows, cruise control and all the other electrics. Even the factory first-aid kit remains in the parcel shelf where it belongs. The ‘update’ versions of the W126 were released in 1989 and are widely regarded as the most desirable examples of the line, and feature an improved seat design trimmed in soft leather, electric front seats (with driver’s side memory), driver airbag and a leather steering wheel. These cars are getting very hard to find with under 300,000km, and even more so as Australian-deliveries with original books.
