When the S600 long wheelbase sedan (V220) was launched in early 2000, it was the flagship of the all-new W/V220-series S-Class range and one of the most exclusive vehicles Mercedes-Benz had ever offered on the Australian market. This stunning February 2003-complied S600 is finished in Obsidian metallic with an Anthracite Nappa leather interior, the latter complemented by burr walnut timber trim throughout the cabin. It has covered a low 141,040km and was delivered new by BEA Mercedes-Benz of Adelaide. As a Model Year 2003 production vehicle, it features the updated nose with taller grille and transparent headlight lenses, updated taillights and the new, significantly more powerful 5.5L twin-turbo V12 motor which replaced the pre-update version's 5.8L naturally-aspirated unit. It comes complete with all of its original factory literature, spare remote key, owner's wallet, up-to-date service log book and a collection of receipts for work done over the years. This is one of the best examples of the 220 series that we have seen in recent times, and we are confident that the condition of the car - inside and out - will impress the fussiest of buyers.
