This 1995-built and complied Toyota 80 Series Landcruiser GXL is an excellent example of the series, when 4WDs were built tough, rugged and without all the luxury add-ons demanded by the mostly-urban SUV buyer of 2022. These FJ80s were built to do a job, and to do it reliably, cost-effectively and with a minimum of fuss. This particular Midnight Blue example is a GXL, and it comes in a 5 spreed manual with the very ddesireble SAHARA alloy wheels. It has covered 316,569km from new and remains in highly original and unmolested condition. It is powered by the 1FZ-FE 4.5L twin cam six-cylinder petrol motor, which develops 158kW of power/373Nm of torque and drives through a 5-speed manual transmission. A transfer case allows the driver to select 4WD high or low range on demand, and also has a center locking deferential at the click of a button or automatically selects when in low range. The paint is in excellent condition for its age, and similarly, the interior - which is trimmed in the original grey cloth - has been very well-cared for, with minimal signs of wear and tear.
