This 1991-complied Mercedes-Benz 420SE (W126 series) is a superb example of the final and most desirable iteration of the legendary S-Class line, and has been part of a private collection in the NSW Southern Highlands for the past 10 years.
Finished in the elegant and sought-after Blue Black metallic with a light Orion Grey leather interior, it was delivered new by McIntosh Mercedes-Benz of Mosman in October 1991. It comes complete with all its original factory literature, including the owner’s manuals, warranty and service book, and spare keys. The car has travelled a remarkably low 94,263km from new and benefits from a fully documented log book service history.
It was serviced exclusively by Mercedes-Benz dealers up to 2005, after which it was maintained by a reputable independent specialist following its sale to its second owner. The car presents in excellent original condition throughout and everything functions as it should – from the ice-cold air conditioning and central locking to the cruise control, power windows, and hydraulic self-levelling rear suspension. Even the factory first-aid kit remains in place in the parcel shelf, and the soft Orion Grey leather upholstery remains in beautiful condition.
