The highly successful Mercedes-Benz W222/V222 – like every S-Class before it – set the benchmark for the luxury class during its seven-year reign from 2014 until 2021. Six months after its initial launch Mercedes-Benz Australia introduced an additional version of the W222 aimed at a growing number of sophisticated and progressive buyers who wanted all the well-known benefits of the flagship limousine but with the efficiency of the smaller C-Class.
